I am confused about the "claim" your car thing. The track can now buy your car for $750.00??? I am not sure because I do not race, but don't these cars cost more than that to build... even the "cheap" ones??? Then there is the sponsor... what about their lack of advertisement for their money they have put into these cars. Do they get anything back on their investment if a car is claimed? I sure hope so or would think about a sponsorship. Anyway... just curious.

I have one of the cars riding in the back and I have probably close to $2000 in mine. Metal is expensive now and safety equipment is not cheap either. its hard to find people to GIVE cars away, I paid $350 for my car, $150 for the cage (cut out of another car) then tires, tune up parts and everything else....it ads up fast!
PS- I think Keith refused the claim so he got no money and is done for the year...if I heard correct.

The claim rule was probably low because this was meant to be a stock class in the beginning like other classes like all of the rest started out years ago. Probably should have just went by the rules from the beginning to fi tto the claim rule.

my car is strictly ny the rule book...I cant afford to have anything done to it...I just dont have connections for free stuff, I had to buy it all
