ALTAMAHAW, N.C.- We are pleased to announce an addition to our Ace Speedway Team.

Doug Smith from Lexington, NC will be taking over the position of General Manager on March 28th.  Doug has been serving as announcer on Friday nights for the past 2 ½ years.

Doug is bringing a lot of experience with him. Doug has experience working at Concord Motorsport Park, Lowe’s Motor Speedway along with 21 years in radio and television. Doug also has a lot of marketing experience to bring with him.

All of us are excited about our 2008 racing season. We have had open practice the last two Saturdays with a good number of cars at both despite the wet and windy weather. We will continue to have open practice each Saturday until our opening night, March 28.
