LMSC RULES

Ace Speedway will recognize the designated Late Model Stock Car Rules as stated for the Whelen All-American Series.

ACE LMSC TIRE RULES:

1. Tires used for regular races may be purchased at Wednesday night practice and left in the tire building OR may be purchased Friday night prior to the racing event OR stored in the tire building room a previous race event of the current season.

2. New tires, once mounted, may be aired using the air provided at the tire truck only.

3. Once mounted, tires may be measured after they have been aired up then placed in the building.

4. No other work may be done to tires until released on race night.

5. Tires may only be used in competition on the car for which they were purchased for, unless otherwise approved by track officials.

6. On race night, tires will be released to the racers at the discretion of the track officials.

7. After the first race of the season, the maximum number of new tires allowed for use in competition will be (2) per car, unless specified by race program or track officials.

8. Once tires have been released, Nitrogen may be used air up tires. This must be done along pit road behind the racecar. Any team working on their tires between the car and trailer is subject to penalties.

9. Tires may be bolted the tires directly on the car once released, and then re-aired and measured. Air used in tires must come from the tire truck, or a large Nitrogen bottle. Using air from portable air tanks is prohibited.

10. Tires used for the second race of twin race events may be used from the first race, or you may retrieve tires from the tire building provided you have tires available, for that car.

11. Tires that are used in an event and to be used in a future event must be delivered to the tire building by the allotted time given that night and accounted for by track officials, or they will not be accepted for storage.
